360°kids has been providing support services to at-risk and homeless youth in York Region for the past 27 years. Our primary focus is providing aid and support to at-risk and homeless youth. 360°kids is a one-stop agency where young people at-risk can access safe, supportive housing for the day, the night or as long as a year. We offer a full range of support services —clothing and food, personal support, outreach, counselling, life skills training, education upgrading and job searching—designed to help youth get back on their feet.
360°kids has an over 27 year track record of working to improve the lives of homeless and at-risk youth in York Region. Providing support and assistance to over 3,100 individual youth each year for a community agency is no small task. Each year, we continue to see the demand for our support services increase, and look for new and alternative ways to meet the demand with limited resources. Through a continuum of care approach 360°kids provides innovative services to clients that includes: two Drop In Centre’s in Richmond Hill and Vaughan that serve at-risk youth ages 13-26; a 14 bed “Connections” emergency shelter for homeless youth, Outreach; Housing Help; Individual and Family Counseling; two residential Youth Homes; two Supportive Transitional apartments; Aftercare and Transitional Support Services for youth exiting the child welfare system; After School Programs, and employment programs including Youth Job Connection and Base 4 Success serving youth ages 15-30. Through 360°kids’ programs, youth are offered a safe place to feel they belong that reduces their risk of homelessness, builds self-esteem, increases recreation and socialization, provides supportive counseling, teaches life skills, provides harm reduction, reintegrates youth back into their families wherever possible and prepares them for independent living.
